Narrabeen Clean Up

We would like to say a massive thank you to all the lovely crew members who came along this hot day to help clean up Narrabeen lagoon. Over eighty people chipped in (not everyone is in this pic) to help make our planet a better and cleaner place. What looks clean, you'll soon discover is not particular clean and honestly don't we all prefer to swim, paddleboard and dive in clean waters? Some of the more odd items found today were a saucepan, a piece of a printer and a holder for a cigarette lighter. Sadly, we found (as we always do) some plastic items with chew marks on them.
By not disposing of our rubbish properly we are killing our precious wildlife, both on land and at sea. To help keeping our planet clean reduce your single-use plastic footprint and be a hero like people in this picture and pick up some rubbish even if it's not yours. Thank you again to all legends who came and helped out today. Hope to see you on one of our clean ups in the future again. Our clean ups are always the last Sunday of every month at 10am. We will post about our February clean up within a few days.
