We are a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to protecting our planet, one piece of litter at a time. Join us in reducing plastic waste that threatens our oceans and wildlife.
A single plastic bottle can contaminate miles of coastline, and plastic takes up to 1,000 years to decompose, harming countless marine animals each year!
Let’s reduce our plastic use: opt for reusable bags, coffee cups, and avoid single-use plastics whenever possible. Small changes can lead to significant impacts. Thank you for supporting our mission!
Participants commit to uphold the ethos of the Northern Beaches Clean Up Crew by engaging in activities that positively impact the community and environment. Our focus is on inspiring and respectful interactions with the local community.
Join us on the last Sunday of every month at 10 a.m. for a beach or lagoon clean-up on Sydney’s northern beaches. Everyone is welcome to make a difference and connect with like-minded individuals.
Our key crew members Kobie, Bleddyn, Julie and Nigol will be at our clean up events so if you’d love to help out or just want a friendly chat, feel free to talk to one of them on the day!
Donating to our charity is a powerful way to make a meaningful impact to our environment. Every contribution, no matter how small helps us provide essential resources to our volunteer community.
You can also use our return and earn barcode when recycling to donate!
Please join us at Adam Street Reserve (next to the lagoon) on Sunday 26th October from 10am.
Don’t forget to bring a hat, water bottle and a smile!
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us prior to the event.
It feels good knowing that you are removing plastic and other rubbish from the environment.
Most of the rubbish would not breakdown and continue to accumulate unless people are motivated to remove it.
The outcome is a healthier natural environment that is better for wildlife and people to enjoy.
I find great reward in supporting an innovative and energetic team that dedicates such care to our fragile environment.
The amazing example they set also stimulates the broader community to think deeply about issues of waste, packaging and litter. Guiding societal change in such a pragmatic way promises great hope for a better world. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?
I found out about the crew from the monthly Frogmouth publication. The crew has a host of volunteers from all ages & nationalities with the combined goal of ridding the Northern Beaches from excessive litter which sadly has been increasing in recent years.
Most important is the crew is an apolitical and friendly bunch which is what keeps me showing up each month.
